Q: Can the GA units be mounted vetically and can you add ducting?

A:The GA-1000 and GA-1500 Garage/Attic fans can be mounted in either a horizontal ceiling or a vertical wall.

The duct opening collar at the outlet end of the Garage Fan is 14 inches in diameter, but it is not normally used with a duct.

Our 6 foot long ducts come with an adjustable collar on each end that will allow one duct to be inserted into another duct and then taped or fastened together with sheet metal screws.

**When ordering, please choose the GA model garage fans if you have a garage with an attic and ceiling or if you do not have an attic and ceiling inside your garage, choose the GX ES-1100 model garage fans which installs in an exterior garage wall.
